PHP Architect at BairesDev

As a PHP Architect, shape the software architecture and strategic direction of our PHP-based web applications, leveraging your deep expertise in PHP, system design, and web development trends. Your role focuses on designing scalable web architectures, guiding technical strategies, and leading development teams to build robust, efficient web solutions that align with our long-term business and technology goals.

What you will do

- Architect comprehensive PHP software solutions, incorporating best practices in scalability, performance, and security.
- Lead the assessment and adoption of advanced PHP frameworks and tools to enhance development capabilities.
- Define coding standards, architectural guidelines, and best practices for PHP development across the organization.
- Provide strategic direction and technical leadership on complex PHP projects, solving challenging technical problems.
- Mentor and guide development teams in advanced PHP techniques and methodologies.
- Collaborate with senior management to align PHP development strategies with business objectives and technology trends.

What we are looking for

- 8+ years of experience with PHP.
- Strong background in software architecture design.
- Strong understanding of system security.
- In-depth knowledge of memory management and performance optimization.
- Experience in designing and integrating distributed and scalable solutions, particularly in cloud environments
- Skilled in relational and non-relational databases.
- Ability to choose between different architectures/technologies, understanding the pros and cons of each.
- Expert in managing CI/CD pipelines.
- Advanced level of English.
